How To Clean A Toilet Plunger?
Wear protective gloves and move towels, rugs, and anything else you don’t want the bleach to splash on out of the way as you prepare.
- Step 1: Directly into your toilet bowl, pour three capfuls of liquid chlorine bleach.
- Step 2: Swirl the toilet plunger in the bleach/water after inserting it.
- Step 3: After a few minutes of swirling, flush the toilet and rinse the plunger with new water.
- Step 4: Now that the plunger is clean. In the shower or bathtub, let it completely dry before storing it.
Repeat this procedure each time you use your toilet plunger to keep bacteria and germs at bay.
Note: You can substitute apple cider vinegar at 5% for the liquid chlorine bleach. Simply pour a lot of vinegar (one to two cups should do it) into the toilet, then proceed as you would with bleach.
How To Keep Your Toilet Brush Clean?
1. Wash The Brush In Clean Toilet Bowl Water
To completely clean your toilet bowl, use your preferred all-natural cleaner.
Flush the toilet after using the toilet brush to clean and scrub, and then rinse it with fresh water.
2. Spray The Toilet Brush With A Disinfectant
To keep it in place and keep it from touching the toilet water, sandwich the toilet brush underneath the toilet seat.
An all-purpose spray, hydrogen peroxide, or apple cider vinegar are a few natural disinfectants that you can use to clean the brush. Be sure to turn the brush clockwise to evenly coat all of the bristles.
3. Let It Soak, Then Rinse Away
After at least 30 minutes, flush the toilet again, then rinse the toilet brush in the water in the toilet bowl.
To allow the brush to dry before putting it back in the brush holder, sandwich it once more between the toilet seat.
How To Clean A Toilet Brush Holder?
You don’t want to put your brush back in a filthy holder now that it’s sparkling clean!
Clean the toilet brush holder at the very least every other time you use your brush to clean the toilet.
